Big Finance: African Development Bank (AfDB) backs Nigeria’s economic reforms

The AfDB is set to lend Nigeria US$500 million in 2025 as part of a US$1 billion budget-support programme, following major economic reforms by President Bola Tinubu (fuel subsidy removal, forex unification, tax reform).
