Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Waidi Shaibu, has assured Nigerians that the security situation across the country is set to improve significantly. After a high-level briefing with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Shaibu expressed confidence that ongoing military operations are yielding encouraging results.

He emphasized that the armed forces are intensifying counter-terrorism efforts, strengthening inter-agency collaboration and pushing deeper into formerly unsafe regions.
